This saw is similar in design and features to the DW368. However, the depth-of-cut lever is mounted outside the handle for easier access (on the DW368, it pivots between the handle and blade housing). The sturdy baseplate offers clear lines of sight from either side of the blade. DeWalt says the base can handle drops off one story-but we didn’t test this claim. The DW369 has an electric brake and weighs 9.8 lb.
