Box is made out of spalted maple and some left over 40 year old cherry. Dovetails are hand cut. The inlays are made of verious woods. Finish is lacquer.

I have taken pictures of most of the steps in making the butterflies. You will need access to a scanner, copier and you probably have everything else needed.
If you have an old vhs player I'll seed you a couple of tapes by a well known luither. This is how I started 2 years ago. Give me your email address and phone number and we'll get started.
