Re: Poll: Any Machinery on your Holiday Wish List?

A Sawstop would be nice, but a European planer/thicknesser would be ever so nice!

Re: Poll: What power tools are on your holiday wish list?

A Festool half-sheet orbital sander, please. I already have a half-sheet orbital sander, and it's great for everything except my breathing apparatus. The Festool would obviate the need for those darn masks

Re: Poll: What hand tools are on your holiday wish list?

I've never made it to one of the Lie-Nielsen demos, but I'd be delighted to experience the feel of one of their planes in my shop.

Re: Poll: What accessories, jigs, and shop gear are on your holiday wish list?

Listing the Woodrat as one of your choices and not the Router Boss shows a worrisome lack of knowledge or judgment. The Router Boss is a direct descendant of the Woodrat, and is better both in design and implementation. (I have owned both.)

Re: UPDATED: What Tools Are on Your Holiday Wish List?

A Veritas #5-1/4W plane, please. You don't have to wrap it. I'm sure I have a sock it will fit into...

Re: Safety Manual: Tablesaw

"7. When making ripcuts, stand to the left of the blade."
That one surprises me. Regardless of which side of the fence you are using for the rip? Regardless of whether you are right or left-handed?
