Beautiful Job! The corners ae a nice touch....... Where did you get the hardware for the lid (the chain & mounts ? I have looked on the internet & can't find them anywhere. I have seen other users that have utilized them before also. Thanks again.
I really enjoy this design. I like how the corner posts/top are a lighter/contrasting wood to the main wood used for construction. Did you have any trouble with the purpleheart browning after you machined the pulls? If so, did exposure to light bring back the purple ? Thanks fo sharing.
The one photo you provided looks great. Would you happen to have any more that you could share ? I am especially curious about the built in book stand. I would love to make this for my mother in-law for Christmas. Thanks.
