I have degrees in Fine Art and Engineering, graduate studies in Biomedical Engineering. I use that background knowledge daily making certain my sculpture and furniture designs are solid, long lasting, and good looking. I spent 15 years as a commercial artist (illustration, photography, graphic design) before the current fine art career, going well after 18 years. Ive sold sculpture and furniture worldwide. I love curves and that theme is visible throughout my portfolio. And Im an enthusiastic kayaker/river runner so water themes are also common to my work. Waves, flowing, movement -- all part of those curves.

Re: Modern Entertaiment center

Very nice design and implementation. Slick and neat. You asked about my "river panels" and the resin. I used various resins, polyester, polyurethane, and epoxies. Each has different pros/cons and I use them in different situations. First the bond to the surrounding wood has to be perfect because the resin is structural, holding the wood together. Some of the resins require they be cured under heat and vacuum, so there are problems to solve. Thanks for your comment on my work.
