I am a computer software engineer by trade, but woodworking is my hobby and what I really enoy doing. I've been woodworking for about 12 years, building cabinets, furniture, and built-ins, mostly for my home but also for friends and some clients. Recently, I started turning bowls. I enjoy taking on major projects that take me several weeks or months to build. My current project is to replace a our family room furniture. I have completed 2 ottomans and 2 Morris Chair's are underway using my own design and combining elements of Stickley and Greene & Greene. I'll add a couch or settle, 3 end tables, and a coffee table. The whole project will take about a year, working nights and weekends as time permits.

I built this unit for books and to display items and for some much needed storage.  The mantel and surround encase a gas fireplace.  Six upper bookcase have 1 fixed and 2 adjustable shelves...
