posted: 12:36 pm on July 16thRegarding the earlier kickback comment - there is no kickback on a bandsaw. The blade pushes down only - generally a good thing.

I have two Benchhorses and typically leave one set up all the time and add the other to make an extra long or extra wide bench. Or sometimes I just bring the second one outside. I also have a couple of the Blum planes and the sharpening jig, all great items.

I still have no tablesaw and see no time in the future when I would get one. Tablesaws take up a ton of space and have eaten too many fingers. Bandsaws are smaller and more versatile. By the time you want a stationary machine you will already have a router and a circular saw which will cover anything you would do on a table saw that you couldn't on a bandsaw.
