Walnut and Ancient Kauri candlestand

This is made of ancient kauri - 30,000 - 50,000 years old, with "whitebait" spalting.  The legs are walnut from a tree that we had to take down on our property.  It is 18" long.

My daughter loved it - she actually teared up a bit when she opened it.
