This box is made of cocobolo and curly maple.
Finished with shellac to seal the pores. Pores of the cocobolo are filled with pumice.
Finally a gentle wipe of drying oil giving it a matte silky shine.
Hinges from ebony with the same shape as the maple in the lid. The box came with a letterwood incense holder (not shown) and also in the same shape as the lid.

I have made this box for a good friend. He is a master in "ZEN" and a passionate coach helping out many people having a better life.
