Dust Deputy arrests dust

Oneida has added a new Dust Deputy to its line. Unlike their two industrial steel models that have been around for a few years, this Dust Deputy incorporates a plastic cyclone and a 5-gallon plastic bucket. Less steel and more plastic results in a selling price of $99, about half what you’d pay for the bigger steel versions.

Oneida claims the Dust Deputy collects more than 99% of the dust, so your shop-vacuum filter stays a lot cleaner a lot longer. And, when the filter stays clean, the vacuum doesn't lose suction. To clean the Deputy, just pop off the lid and empty the bucket.

As an option, the Deputy can be mounted directly to your shop vacuum, allowing both units to roll as one. The package includes a second bucket and all necessary mounting hardware. The second bucket is mounted to the canister of your shop vacuum, where it serves as a holder. When the Dust Deputy fills up, just lift it out the holder bucket for easy emptying.

For more information, contact Oneida Air Systems at (tel.) 800-732-4065 or go to www.oneida-air.com.
