Mahogany / Wenge Mantel

This mantel was made using African Mahogany and features a band of Wenge for accent. The Wenge accent was routed in and the surfacing and beveling was done by hand tools. The mantel is finished with an oil / varnish mix and is supported by 3/4" steel rods drilled into fireplace header and studs
