The bench. Top is at least 120 lb. Wood covering on front vise not yet installed.
Traditional european end vise. All wood with a large steel screw somewhere inside
Krenov style bench dogs. Very nice.
Front vise with wood jaws.
Did I really make this. I probably did. And it works!

I wantetd a solid workbench and started on the FWW essential, but it evolved and took up elements from other benches along the way. It's all I need from a bench: heavy, flat and with lots of options for fixing work. And (almost) no visible steel. The wood is birch, that's what's available here.
