This is my first try at marquetry. I decided to add it as an element to a basic box that I have built many times from a design I have seen in several books. I give credit to the "Marquetry Course" by Jack Metcalfe and John Apps for the wonderful instructions to do the pattern shown. I highly recomend their book for anyone interesed in starting marquetry.

Design or Plan used: Both box style and marquetry pattern have been around for a LONG time.
