My son lives in NYC and I live in North Carolina.  When he asked if I might provide some bookshelves I determined that they must be "UPS-ship-able" flat... and they must be knockdown without looking so.  The entire piece is made from lightweight FUMA-core mahogany veneered plywood with maple inlays and is assembled using Rafix connectors.  Precat lacquer finish.
