A NEED FOR MORE STORAGE AND A STAND ALONE ROUTER STATION. I BUILT THIS IN MY SPARE TIME WITH NO REAL PLANS. ADDING FEATURES AS I WENT. I'M STILL ADDING AS I SEE A NEED FOR MORE. MOST OF THE MATERIALS WERE BOUGHT OR PICKED UP FROM ODD JOBS OR STUFF BEING THROWN OUT. THE MELAMINE ARE SHELVES THAT WERE BEING REPLACED, SO I EDGE GLUED THEM AND RAN DADOS OVER THE GLUE JOINTS AND ADDED WALNUT STRIPES. I FINISHED THE WALNUT WITH A CHERRY STAIN AND SATIN POLYURITHAINE. A WORK STILL IN PROGRESS.

I finally set it up on its own casters, and inclosed over the drawers on both sides of the router box , to have even more space. So when you open the lid there is 2 areas on either side for my router wrench and i've got my scrapers in there also.
